…a fangirl (or boy) dies inside. In a good way that is.
What more if those two musicians play a song that’s close to your heart on one stage? There are no words to describe the feeling.
Basically, THIS is me.
Sungha Jung is just amazing. His style is so complicated yet he manages to pull it off so effortlessly as if it were basic. He doesn’t sing because his guitar does it for him. Plus I like the way he stifles his smiles whenever he plays. It’s too cute. His music makes him happy. And that’s important.
And then there’s Jason Mraz. I listen to his songs for days on end. He is a storyteller. His words are genuine, his melodies magical. And have you listened to his cover of Sinatra’s Fly Me To The Moon? He’s even better live, which was why my heart shattered when I wasn’t able to attend his recent concert in Manila. I LOVE HIM TO BITS.
I look up to these people not only because of their music but also of their ability to move people through their craft. They are what I want to grow up to be like — inspiring people in my own little way.
